While food is conveniently mass-produced and globally distributed, it’s considerably less healthy than that of previous generations. Americans pride themselves on an amazing variety of food choices and preparations, but it seems that every marketing scheme that complicates substance and recipes makes things worse.
Raw is always healthier for optimal nutrients and enzymes, but some foods like pork must be cooked just for safety. America, as a society that lives on 90 percent cooked foods and congratulates itself on a small raw salad once or twice weekly, cannot count on its diet to restore or even maintain health. The Standard American Diet is just that – SAD.(Rense.com web site, Raw Food vs. The Cooked, American Diet: God's Way to Ultimate Health by Dr. George H. Malkmus, Michael Dye).
Does Medical Testing Tell the Truth?
Marginal health is so common in American, that medical testing standards are being continually ‘relaxed’ for blood tests for each new generation because what is typical and considered ‘normal’ has not been optimal nor ‘healthy’ for several generations. Any results matched against this dubious norm cannot verify or disprove health because the norm is invalid. Hearing a doctor say “You’re fine, all your tests are within normal ranges.” is emotionally reassuring, but even the doctor may not realize he should be saying, “Well, based on your test results, you are just as generally unhealthy as the rest of the population.”
The obvious answer would be to use test results of the healthiest individuals, like the Jack LaLanne’s, as controls, but that presents another problem. Could the medical world handle the panic caused in the myriads whose results were then compared against those healthy (but now unattainable) levels, as opposed to the current population majority that is, in truth, generally unhealthy? And is there another way to address this?
Three Things Are Clear
Part of the answer would be to reign in the FDA. Between their encouragement and open support of the drug industry and their persecution of the Alternative Health community, they exacerbate the core problem--that the citizenry has been brainwashed into thinking the air, water, and food in this country is safe.
People believe that chlorinated and fluoridated water supplies are safe when the fluoride used is essentially industrial waste that acts over time as a slow-acting poison. The government knows but citizens are not informed.
People believe their food supply is safe and uncontaminated, when as much as 98% of some food types are from genetically modified seed, to survive being soaked in herbicides and pesticides, and not allowed to be labeled as such. The top five ’food companies’ are not agriculture companies, but chemical companies monopolizing the GMO crop seed market to sell millions more tons of their chemicals.
The answers are clearly not easy, but disclosing the truth so problems can be addressed is step 1. Forward-thinking municipalities like Framingham, Massachusetts now ozonate their water rather than chlorinating it, but Framingham has not yet learned the dangerous truth about Fluoride.
Research should address the poisons on/in our foods, which may have their part in the worldwide near disappearance of the honey bee. And people need to know the value of oxygen therapy, now being used to cure all manner of diseases including cancer. Can it be any more simple? Yet medical oxygen remains a prescription item and the FDA web site warns against its use with barely a word against more serious dangers.
People Need to Hear the Truth
Technological conveniences we have invested in for generations are costing us our lives. People need to know that preventing disease isn’t merely subduing symptoms with tons of drugs. The choices boil down to whether America wants to – or can - give up the millions of jobs dependent on the largest industries in the country – the giant growing nationwide medical complex, including hospital and non-hospital medical companies, pharmaceutical companies, and insurance companies, national and state government regulatory agencies over those three industries, and organizations like the American Cancer Society and every similar private and municipal organization that could simply ‘go away’ once its reason-for-being disease or condition were no longer in the medical books.
Drugs make money for their manufacturers by suppressing symptoms without offering cures and sometimes with concurrent crippling or lethal side effects. They are not the ultimate answer, and generations of innocent, hurting people in this country shouldn’t be forced to ignorantly sacrifice their health and their lives to support these increasingly parasitic organizations. Yet the secrecy continues.
